A Letter to Tibet

So, why go to Tibet?
It’s mysterious, solitary, desolate, yet kind.
It has majestic mountains, clear lakes, vast grasslands, mighty glaciers, and towering snow-capped peaks.
It inspires awe and fills people with longing.

Tibet feels far, so far that some may take a lifetime to reach it. Yet it feels near, just a plane ride away.
But I fear my own ignorance, fearing that I might not truly appreciate its beauty and wilderness.

From the Third Pole to Gongga Mountain, from the heart of Tibet to Tashilhunpo Monastery, from the sacred Mount Kailash to the Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama, from mysterious sky burials to the thousand-year-old Bodhi trees.
Although I still feel I know nothing about Tibet, every step allows me to gradually experience its purity.

When the plane lands, Tibet becomes real, right in front of me.
Along the journey, the blue skies and white clouds seem to always welcome us.

At the Potala Palace in the evening, the wind brushes gently, and the golden light reflects off the highland's pearl.
At Jokhang Temple, witnessing the devoted pilgrims is deeply moving, beyond words. That is the power of faith. I envy their purity and conviction because no amount of hardship can outweigh the fulfillment in their hearts.

At Tibet's Sky Post Office, I wrote heartfelt messages to my loved ones. I hope they can feel it.
At Zaki Temple, even the most worldly wishes seem to come true, perhaps due to the unique atmosphere of spiritual purification found here.

The beauty of Basum Tso and Xincuo filled my eyes, and I learned how to use meditation tools to help me reach a peaceful state of mind, turning nature’s power into nourishment for the soul. This land teaches you mindful living, where every moment is filled with awareness.

Through this journey, I realized that wealth is not only material. Tibet has a unique force, like prosperity-enhancing products, helping people find balance between their inner selves and the outer world. Everything we do affects our karma balance, and Tibet seems like the ideal place to seek this equilibrium.

Tibet’s Zen lifestyle deeply influences everyone who comes here. The serene temples and fluttering prayer flags help you find inner peace and enlightenment. Here, each majestic Buddha statue radiates wisdom, guiding people toward spiritual awakening.

The spiritual jewelry found in markets and temples is more than just decoration. It’s a protective charm, offering blessings and representing the pursuit of spiritual growth. Tibet’s natural environment offers limitless energy purification, where every prayer flag fluttering in the wind carries blessings and purification.

In Tibet, you can always find various mindfulness products to help you stay focused and aware in daily life. Each experience here leads you to deeper spiritual growth, bringing an awakening like never before.

The journey is not just about physical well-being, but also about holistic wellness, where the mind and body find harmony. Whether it’s through Tibetan Buddhist rituals or using meditation accessories, this sacred land connects you to higher wisdom, marking the beginning of spiritual enlightenment.

At Mount Namjagbarwa, though I didn’t see the full view of the "Shy Maiden Peak," I was lucky enough to witness the beauty of its sunset.
Those who I haven't seen in a long time—will you be glad that I’ve come so close to you? I will slowly explore the parts of the world you never saw.

Even though this journey didn’t go exactly as planned, everywhere I went was filled with beauty.
In this wild yet romantic northwest, I embraced every moment, met people I never knew.
This land may be barren, perhaps not even a blade of grass grows, yet it draws those who carry roses in their hearts from thousands of miles away.

This journey may have strained my body, but it purified my soul.
Though I never intended for this trip to be one of redemption, I came to know myself better and learned how to let go.

As autumn deepens in Tibet, I find it hard to leave. Perhaps I’m not the only one who feels this way.
So, let’s leave some regrets for Tibet—
Like not completing the pilgrimage around Mount Kailash, missing the sunrise at Mount Everest, or the vanishing ancient Guge Kingdom, the peaceful heart of Tashilhunpo Monastery, the prayer flags of Nagenla Mountain, or the hidden mysteries of Medog…

Perhaps when I return next time, I will take something more with me.
If all the answers are on the road, then let’s set off.

On this full moon day, I wish you all completeness and fulfillment!
